According to the data, Kogi, Kwara, and Ondo are grappling with soaring food prices. Kogi stands at a staggering 48.62% food inflation rate, the highest in the country.
In contrast, Adamawa, Bauchi, and Nasarawa experienced relatively lower increases in food costs. However, the figures remain alarmingly high, reflecting the nation’s economic woes.
“Families are making tough choices, sacrificing essential needs to afford basic sustenance,” a local resident lamented.
