Anomo further highlighted that the new classrooms are part of a series of infrastructural projects aimed at uplifting the standards of living for residents.
The commissioning event is expected to draw attendance from prominent community leaders, educators, parents, and students.
Hon. Ganiyu Selim Oluwaseun, the Majority Leader of the House and Chairman of the House Committee on Works/Infrastructure and ICT, who has been actively involved in supporting the council’s initiatives, commended the completion of the project.
“This new block of classrooms is a significant achievement that will benefit our children immensely. It reflects our collective efforts to ensure that every child in our community has access to quality education,” he remarked.
Residents have lauded the initiative, noting that it is a much-needed development. Mrs. Modinat Yusuf, Vice-Chairman of APC Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, expressed her delight.
“This project is a dream come true for many parents who have long desired better educational facilities for their children. We are grateful to the leadership for prioritizing education,” she said.
The project also received accolades from educational stakeholders, who acknowledged the positive impact it will have on students’ learning experiences. Chief L.K. Jimoh, a respected community elder, noted,
“The new classrooms will not only improve academic performance but also inspire students to pursue their educational goals with renewed vigor.”
