JUST IN: Fire Breaks Out in Bayero Mall
Eko Hot Blog reports that a sudden midday fire on Wednesday damaged a section of the Ado Bayero Mall, formerly occupied by Game Stores, on Zoo Road in Kano.
The mall’s lease manager, Elizabeth Adeyemo, who confirmed the incident stated that firefighters were on the scene making urgent efforts to extinguish the blaze.

Reports have it that customers were being prevented from entering the mall.
The manager explained that this measure was to allow the firefighters free access to combat the fire as efficiently as possible.
At the time of reporting, the cause of the fire had not yet been determined and no casualty has been recorded.
