Eko Club International, Alhaji Kem Kem, Shafi Amuwo, and other friends paid tribute to Quadri Salvador.
Eko Hot Blog reports that various individuals and groups have sent prayers and tributes in honour of the memory of Alhaji Quadri Ayo Salvador, Eko Club Florida founding member, who passed away on Monday, July 15, 2024.

In a statement, Kafayat Salvador, the deceased’s daughter, announced that her father would be buried on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the Okesuna Cemetery, Lafiaji Obalende, Lagos.
The Jannaza prayer will be at 4:00 pm on Tuesday at Brazilian Salvador Mosque, Bamgbose Street, off Joseph Street Campos Bus stop, Lagos Island.
Meanwhile, the Eko Club International (ECI), which Alhaji Salvador belonged to until his death, described him as an iconic member of the Nigerian Diasporan community.
In a statement issued by the ECI PRO, Hon. S. O Abdullateef, the club prayed for the deceased’s family.
“We pray to Almighty Allah for forgiveness of all his sin and grant him Aljanah firdaous, May Almighty Allah be with the families he left behind, Amin,”
Likewise, in a tribute, Alhaja Kem Kem described Alhaji Salvador as a “very good man” who took his faith seriously.
“My sincere condolences to the family of Alhaji Salvador and the entire ECI family,” she said.
‘He was indeed a very good man who endeared himself to everyone he came in contact with. A very active member of the Nigerian Islamic Community.
“I pray almighty Allah forgive his sins and accept him in Jannathul Firdaus.”

Similarly, Otunba TJ Abass, a former President of the Eko Club International (ECI) mourned the deceased, saying he was a strong presence during his lifetime.
“Alhaji Salvador was a reliable member of the Nigerian community in the US and always stood up to be counted,” he said.
“He will be sorely missed and I wish his family the strength to bear this great loss.”
Also, Dr. Shafi Amuwo praised Alhaji Salvador as an active member of ECI who never missed the club’s several activities.
“He was a good man, a Lagosian to the core. For more than 20 years, he was ever present at the annual ECI conferences as well as some regional meetings. He espoused fairness at all levels,” he said.
“His wisdom and Islamic faith serve as guiding principles for those of us that knew him as an ‘organization man’. He was an ‘Omo Eko Pataki’ to the core.
“In fact, only a few people can match his Yorubaness. Just as he was active in ECI, he was equally an energetic and financial member of the State of Florida Democratic Circles. He will be sorely missed!
