Wale Raji announced the completion of Afuye Primary School at Kayokayo Festival.

Eko Hot Blog reports that during the grand finale of the Kayokayo Festival at the weekend, Hon. Wale Raji announced the completion of Afuye Primary School, a significant milestone for the Epe community.

The new school will open its doors in September, eliminating the need for pupils to travel daily to Ansarudeen Primary School.

Hon. Raji highlighted the ongoing efforts to improve educational facilities in his address.

“With the completion of Afuye Primary School, our children will no longer need to commute to Ansarudeen Primary School.

“The new school will be ready by September,” he announced.

He also mentioned the construction of six new classroom blocks at Ansarudeen Primary School to prevent overcrowding.

These classrooms will be ready for use in September, ensuring a better learning environment for students.

Hon. Raji took the opportunity to thank Hon. Tunji Alausa, the Minister of State for Health, for his critical role in upgrading Epe General Hospital to federal status.

“We are on the brink of seeing Epe General Hospital become a federal hospital, thanks to the efforts of Hon. Alausa and the House of Assembly members.

“Their dedication has been pivotal in advancing our healthcare infrastructure,” he said.

He also expressed his appreciation to the community members for their unwavering support.
