MTN Office Under Siege As Nigerians Raise A Storm Over NIN-Related Disconnection

A group of frustrated Nigerians gathered outside the MTN office in Ibadan today, protesting the recent disconnection of phone numbers due to the failure to link them to their National Identification Numbers (NIN).

The affected individuals after waiting outside without getting access, started throwing stones and raising curses to express their discontent with the telecommunications company’s decision to block their numbers, citing inconvenience, loss of business, and disruption of essential services.
