Protesters Block Fubara’s Motorcade In Port Harcourt
Governor Fubara’s motorcade was blocked by protesters in Port Harcourt demanding his resignation and engagement amidst nationwide protests.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that Governor Siminalayi Fubara’s motorcade was obstructed by protesters in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on Saturday.
According to Channels Television, the demonstrators demanded the governor step down and engage with them directly.

This marks the third day of nationwide protests in Nigeria over the rising cost of commodities and hunger under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.
In Port Harcourt, protesters brandishing green branches filled the streets, demanding an end to poor governance.
Despite Governor Fubara’s convoy passing through, the protesters remained steadfast in their demonstrations.
The gatherings in Port Harcourt have continued for three consecutive days as part of the #EndBadGovernance movement, which commenced on August 1, 2024.
Participants assembled at Pleasure Park, holding placards and affirming their commitment to stay until their voices were heard.
