EKO HOT BLOG reports that the the 20-year-old midfielder joined Chelsea last summer from Rennes and made 15 appearances during his debut season at Stamford Bridge.
During Chelsea’s pre-season summer tour of the United States, Ugochukwu impressed with his skills, notably scoring goals against Wrexham and Inter Milan.
His performances have marked him as a promising talent, and this loan move to Southampton is seen as an opportunity for him to gain valuable experience and further develop his abilities in the highly competitive environment of the Premier League.
