BREAKING: Foden Beats Haaland, Others To Emerge Premier League Player Of The Season

Phil Foden and Bunny Shaw of Manchester City have been crowned the PFA Men’s and Women’s Players of the Year, respectively, during the PFA Awards on Tuesday night.

Foden, 24, was a key player in Manchester City’s fourth consecutive Premier League title win, contributing 19 goals and eight assists over the season.

His stellar performances have earned him recognition from his fellow players.

On the women’s side, Jamaican striker Bunny Shaw claimed the top scorer title in the Women’s Super League with 21 goals. Despite her efforts, Manchester City narrowly missed out on the league title to Chelsea, who won on goal difference.

In the young players’ category, Chelsea’s Cole Palmer was named the PFA Men’s Young Player of the Year, while Manchester United’s Grace Clinton took home the Women’s Young Player of the Year award after impressing during her loan spell at Tottenham.

Palmer finished the season as Chelsea’s second-highest scorer with 22 goals and topped the team’s assist chart with 11 assists.
