FCT Police Identify Cross-Dresser Found Dead On Abuja Expressway

The FCT police command said that it has finally identified the male cross-dresser found dead along the Katampe-Mabushi expressway on August 8, 2024.

Spokesperson of the Command, SP Josephine Adeh, made this disclosure in a statement on Wednesday in Abuja, giving the name of the deceased as Ifeanyi-Chukwu Ajah Benedict.

She said, “Sequel to a case of culpable homicide and discovery of an unidentified male corpse earlier mistaken for a female on August 8, 2024, the operatives of the FCT Command have begun a discreet investigation as ordered by the Commissioner of Police FCT, CP Benneth Igweh.

“Preliminary investigations revealed the deceased to be one Ifeanyi Chukwu-Agah Benedict, a ‘33’ year old man who hails from Afikpo North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State and resides at Dapé in Karmo Area of Abuja.

“The family of the deceased has also been contacted, as they are aiding the police with necessary information.

“Further development will be communicated in due course.

EKO HOT BLOG recalls that the Commissioner of Police of the Federal Capital Territory, Benneth Igweh, ordered an immediate investigation into the death of the earlier unidentified crossdresser.

The cross dresser’s corpse was said to be found along Katampe-Mabushi expressway, Abuja in the early hours of Thursday, August 8.

In a statement, the police said, “A distress call was received by the Command Control Room on August 8, 2024, at about 07:40 am, that an unidentified lady was seen lying motionless along Katampe-Mabushi expressway, and a team of detectives were immediately dispatched to the scene.”

According to the statement, preliminary investigations revealed that the individual was a man fully dressed in female clothing with no means of identification.
