American Rapper, Ybcdul Shot Dead in Philadelphia
American rapper Abdul Vicks, known as “Ybcdul” and the alleged leader of a violent gang in West Philadelphia, was fatally shot on Friday in the Olney neighborhood of the city.
Vicks, who also went by “Mr Disrespectful,” was shot multiple times in the chest and right hand on the 5500 block of N. 6th Street around 3:34 p.m., according to local reports. He was rushed to Einstein Medical Center but was pronounced dead at 3:55 p.m.

Vicks was reportedly the leader of the Young Bag Chasers (YBC) gang, a name that inspired his stage persona.

The circumstances surrounding his death have raised concerns and prompted an ongoing investigation. No arrests have been made so far. Authorities are calling for anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit or the police department’s tipline.

In related news, Quamere Hall, a rapper known as “Mere Pablo” and believed to be connected to Vicks, was arrested earlier this month in relation to a fatal shooting that occurred last year.
