Ekohotblog reports that Triumphant Child Foundation, a non-governmental organization, partnered with the Ibeju Lekki Local Government to distribute school bags and exercise books to children within the council area.
This is to support education and provide relief for students in Ibeju Lekki.This initiative was carried out as students resume the new academic session.
The Executive Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, was represented by his Chief of Staff, Mr. Issa Moruf Olayinka, who appreciated the foundation for their generosity and concern to the welfare of the students in the community.

He mentioned the importance of collaborations between NGOs, private individuals, and the government, stressing that the administration cannot handle the challenges alone.
“It is a rare privilege, and we urge more individuals and organizations to partner with the government to support the growth of our community,” Olayinka said.
The founder and CEO of Triumphant Child Foundation, Mrs. Joy Francisca-Aikhomu,In her address expressed her appreciation to Hon. Olowa for creating an enabling environment for such initiatives.

She emphasis the urgent need to support vulnerable children, stating that in 2021 alone, over 21 million children were displaced due to domestic violence, loss of parents, and other hardships.
Mrs. Francisca-Aikhomu also announced her plans to launch an orphanage soon, which will be in form of expanding the foundation’s outreach.
“We are committed to providing support to Hon. Olowa’s administration, especially in the areas of humanitarian assistance and child welfare,” she added.
Other dignitaries present at the event included Mr. Solomon Oduh, co-founder of the foundation, and council members such as Hon. Olusola Edalere, Hon. Mutiu Saheed, Hon. Muhydeen Kareem, Hon. Oluwole Hakeem Balogun, Hon. Wakilat Odupe, Hon. Segun Agbabiaka, Hon. Shakiru Openiyi, Alhaji Talemu Adeola, Baale of Igando-Oloja.
