Gov. Bello Presents 2020 Budget Estimate Of N176bn To State Assembly

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello,has presented 2020 budget proposal of N176 billion before members of the state house of assembly.

The Governor tagged the 2020 budget “Budget of Prosperity”.

At the laying of the budget before Kogi State House of Assembly,he said that it will transform state in all spheres of development.

The Governor who was represented by his deputy, Edward Onoja, added that the 2020 draft budget was about 10% higher than the 2019 revised approved budget which was N158.1 billion.

He said: “The appropriation bill is to the tune of N176,123,091.931 for the 2020 budget of Kogi State.

“The estimate consists of N97, 153,963,194 as capital expenditure and N87, 969,128,737 as recurrent expenditure.”
