Lagos GAC Team Visits Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Praises Chairman Anomo’s Leadership
Ekohotblog reports that a team from the Lagos State Governance Advisory Council (GAC), the highest political body of the All Progressives Congress (APC), paid a courtesy visit to Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area (LCDA) yesterday to inspect the performance of the Chairman, Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo.
The visit was part of a midterm review to evaluate the performance by local governments in Lagos East Senatorial District.
The GAC delegation, led by Senator Musiliu Olatunde Obanikoro, a former Minister of State for Defense, also Chief Rilwan Aleshinloye, Alhaji Olalekan Akodu, and Barr. Sulaimon Adeniyi.
They aimed to inspect the work of Chairman Anomo’s administration and hear directly from community leaders.
During the visit, the team inspected several projects and applauded the Chairman’s efforts.
“We are really impressed with the visible improvements in infrastructure and the positive impact these projects are having on the community,” said Senator Obanikoro.
He added that, “Chairman Anomo has shown true commitment to the people of Ikosi-Ejinrin, and we encourage him to continue his good work.”
At the stakeholders’ meeting, community leaders and traditional rulers expressed their satisfaction with the Chairman’s leadership.
HRM Oba Asunmo Ganiyu Aderibigbe, the Alayandelu of Odo-Ayandelu, said, “ Anomo has been so fair and transparent in his dealings and we are really proud of him.
His leadership style has also brought peace and development to our LCDA.
In Responds to the feedback, Senator Obanikoro emphasized the importance of good governance at the grassroots level.
“The feedback we’ve heard today shows that the people are happy with the Chairman’s performance.
The dividends of democracy are visible here, and we hope the Chairman will continue to build on these successes,” he said.
Hon Anomo, appreciated the GAC team and the community for their support.
He also assured them that his administration would remain focused on delivering quality services and promoting the lives of the people of Ikosi-Ejinrin.
