Epe APC Leaders and Members Unite for Community Development Amid Economic Challenges
Ekohotblog reports that Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Epe Local Governmento on Thursday, held a meeting at the party’s secretariat in Paramount, Epe.
The meeting aimed to bring together members and leaders to renew their commitment to community progress during these challenging economic times.
Many prominent figures attended, showing their support for the APC, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Senator Tokunbo Abiru, Rep. Wale Raji, Hon. Abiodun Tobun, and Hon. Surah Animashaun, the Epe Local Government Chairman.
Led by Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu, a respected APC APEX leader in the community, the gathering celebrated their shared goals for grassroots development.
Epe LGA Party Chairman, Hon. Toyin Gbadamosi, applauded Hon. Surah Animashaun’s leadership and her recent efforts to assist locals with cash support to 2,000 residents. He expressed his full support for her to continue in her role as chairman for a second term.
Hon. Kehinde Adeniyi, Lagos APC Welfare Secretary, encouraged patience and resilience among members, emphasizing that the APC is working hard to address current economic issues. “Even with past challenges, we are hopeful for a better Nigeria,” Adeniyi assured, reflecting the party’s commitment to a brighter future.
Other leaders shared similar messages. Hon. Rotimi Ibrahim from Ward C1 praised elected officials for delivering on their promises despite economic struggles, and Hon. Daudu Ajibola acknowledged the strength of party unity during tough times. “People are feeling the effects of economic changes now, but better days are coming,” he said.
Alhaja Alaba Oluwo, APC Women Leader in Epe, highlighted the important role of women in politics, especially under Chairman Surah Animashaun’s guidance.
She encouraged unity and the forgiveness of past disagreements, stressing the importance of sticking together for the community’s progress.
Hon. Ajisefini, the party secretary, appreciating everyone for their turnout and support. He stated that the energy and commitment shown by all present gave hope for a brighter future for the Epe community and Nigeria.
Other notable figures present at the meeting included Hon. Seriki Olabowale, Chairman of Lagos Ward Chairmen; Mrs. Kila Kikelomo, LGA Deputy Chairman; Hon. Gbenle, LGA Treasurer; Hon. Sikiru Rahmon, Epe LG Supervisor for Works and Civic Engagement; Mrs. Bola Lawal, Epe LG Supervisor for WAPA; Alhaji and Alhaja Shonubi; and Hon. S.I. Bakare.
