The Senate has confirmed seven ministerial nominees, including Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.
Other confirmed nominees are Dr. Jumoke Oduwole as Minister of Industry, Trade, and Development, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda as Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, and Muhammadu Dingyadi as Minister of Labour and Employment.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that additionally, Idi Muktar Maiha was confirmed as Minister of Livestock Development, Yusuf Ata as Minister of State for Housing, and Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad as Minister of State for Education.
The Senate spent approximately five hours screening the nominees before confirming their appointments. President Bola Tinubu had sent the nominations to the Senate last Thursday.
Bianca Ojukwu, the widow of the late Biafran leader, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, brings a wealth of experience and a strong political background to her new role.
Her confirmation marks a significant milestone for her and the Igbo people.
