Aston Villa is reportedly leading the race for the 25-year-old’s signature, thanks to manager Unai Emery’s previous connection with Chukwueze at Villarreal, where they won the Europa League and reached the Champions League semi-finals together.
Chukwueze joined Milan on a five-year contract in July 2023 but has struggled to find consistent playing time, starting just 14 of his 33 competitive appearances in the 2023/24 season, where he has recorded three goals and three assists.
In the current campaign, he has made only four starts in 11 matches, although he recently showcased his talent by scoring the winner against Udinese and assisting in a 3-1 Champions League victory over Club Brugge.

However, the former Villarreal star played the full match during Milan’s 2-0 defeat to Napoli on Tuesday but failed to make a significant impact.
As the January transfer window approaches, Chukwueze’s future at Milan may hinge on his performances under coach Paulo Fonseca in the coming weeks, as the Serie A club considers bolstering their attacking options.
