In a statement issued by club chairman Garzali Nfari and secretary Aliyu Tabulet, the suspension was attributed to Soja’s “discouraging” remarks following Real Madrid’s 4-0 defeat to rivals Barcelona in La Liga.

The statement noted that Soja had publicly suggested that Real Madrid would not accomplish much this season.
“That sentiment affected the morale of other members.
“The suspension is effective from Oct. 28, following a meeting of the Fan Club’s Executive Council; he remains suspended till May 28, 2025. That day coincides with the end of the football season,” it said.
