Epe Residents Receive Financial Support from Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu

Ekohotblog reports that Alhaji Akanni Seriki Bamu, a political icon, philanthropist, and member of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), has distributed ₦5,000 each to 100 persons.

The cash disbursement exercise, which took place recently, was part of his ongoing effort to alleviate the financial hardship faced by the less privileged, particularly during these tough times in the country.

Alhaji Bamu, began this initiative two years ago, where he selects 40 individuals from each ward in Epe for monthly cash donations.

This month of November, he decided to increase the number of beneficiaries, to 100 beneficiaries.

Speaking during the exercise, Alhaji Bamu emphasized that his motivation to give is not rooted in charity but in a sense of shared humanity.

“Helping those in need is not charity, but humanity,” he said, reflecting his deep sense of responsibility toward his community.

One of the beneficiaries, Mrs. Olayemi, expressed her heartfelt gratitude for the donation, stating, “This money will go a long way in helping me provide for my family.

Alhaji Bamu has been a blessing to us, especially during these difficult times.”

Another recipient, Mr. Ogunleye, also commended the initiative, noting that the cash support has become a great relief for many in Epe.

“He has been consistent in his efforts to help the people of Epe, and we are incredibly grateful,” he said.
