[BREAKING] Ondo: Aiyedatiwa, Adelami Receive Certificates Of Return From INEC

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has officially presented the Certificates of Return to the newly elected Governor of Ondo State, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and his deputy, Dr. Olayide Adelami.

The ceremony took place on Tuesday at the INEC headquarters in Abuja, with prominent figures in attendance, including the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, and several members of the APC National Working Committee (NWC).

In his address, Governor-elect Aiyedatiwa, who was accompanied by Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, expressed gratitude to the people of Ondo State for their votes and support, which, he said, had renewed his mandate.

He acknowledged the responsibility this mandate carried and pledged to serve the people better than before.

“I am deeply honored by the trust you have placed in me through your overwhelming support across all 18 local government areas.

“This victory is not just mine, but the people’s victory, and it comes with the burden of doing even more for the development of Ondo State,” Aiyedatiwa stated.

He further thanked President Bola Tinubu for providing a level playing field for all political parties during the election. Aiyedatiwa also commended other stakeholders for their contributions to the electoral process and praised INEC for conducting a “free, fair, transparent, credible, and inclusive election.”
