Ward Chairmen Honor Hon. Olowa for His Outstanding Work
Ekohotblog reports that the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has been honored by the coalition of Ward Chairmen for his excellent leadership and the positive changes he has brought to the area.
The Chairmen, led by their leader, Hon. Adesegun Agbabiaka, presented a frame of honor to Hon. Olowa during a special event held on Friday.
Many political leaders, including Hon. Mojeed Olayinka, Leader of the Legislative Council; Hon. Adewale Adebanjo, Secretary to the Local Government; Hon. Raheem Adewale Kazeem; Hon. Balogun Kazeem Olugbenga; Alhaji Ade (Baba Adex); Hon. Albakau Tajudeen Agnaje; and Hon. Tantala, were also present to celebrate the occasion.
Hon. Olowa thanked the Ward Chairmen for their recognition and support.
“This honor means a lot to me. It shows that our efforts to improve Ibeju-Lekki are being noticed. I promise to keep working hard for the good of our people,” he said.
He praised the Ward Chairmen for their important role in grassroots development.
“You are the ones who connect with the people every day. Your hard work makes our job easier, and I am grateful for your efforts,” he added.
Hon. Adesegun Agbabiaka, speaking on behalf of the coalition, appreciated Hon. Olowa’s leadership.
“Hon. Olowa has done so much for Ibeju-Lekki. He has brought development and growth to our community. This is our way of saying thank you,” he said.
The Ward Chairmen who attended the event included Hon. Shakiru Openiyi (Ward B), Hon. Adekunle Balogun (Ward C1), Hon. Sheu Sanni (Ward C2), Hon. Prince Abiodun Adesanya (Ward D), Hon. Shefiu Moruf (Ward E), and Hon. Adewale Elemoro (Ward F).
Hon. Mojeed Olayinka also spoke highly of Hon. Olowa, saying, “Hon. Olowa’s leadership is inspiring. He has shown that good governance can bring real change. We are proud to work with him.”
