FG Publishes Final List For Fire Service Recruitment
The Federal Government has released the final list of successful candidates for recruitment into the Federal Fire Service (FFS), according to a statement by Ja’afaru Ahmed, Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), on Saturday.
Ahmed announced that candidates could check their recruitment status on the board’s portal, cdcfib.career, starting Monday, December 9, 2024.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that successful applicants are advised to print their invitation letters from the portal once their status is confirmed.

“The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board wishes to notify candidates who applied for recruitment into the Federal Fire Service (FFS) to visit the Board’s portal to check if they were successful and proceed to print their invitation letter,” the statement read.
The final documentation exercise will be conducted from December 9 to December 21 at the Abdulrahman Bello Dambazau Conference Centre, located within the headquarters of the Nigerian Correctional Service in Abuja.
Ahmed advised successful candidates to appear on the specified dates indicated on their invitation letters. They are required to wear white tops and shorts and bring both original and photocopies of their credentials.
“Applicants must strictly adhere to the instructions in their invitation letters and appear promptly for the final screening process,” Ahmed emphasized.
The recruitment exercise began in December 2023 and has undergone multiple stages to ensure transparency and fairness.
