Inmates' Feeding 2025

The Federal Government has proposed a budget of N38,030,008,805 for feeding inmates in Nigerian custodial centres in 2025, alongside other significant allocations aimed at improving correctional services.

In light of recurring jailbreaks and deteriorating infrastructure, N7.2 billion has been earmarked for the upgrade of correctional facilities to provide a safer and more conducive environment for both inmates and staff.
