Arokodare Spreads Christmas Cheer With Food Giveaway In Belgium

Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare, who plays for Genk, has joined his compatriot Alex Iwobi in spreading holiday cheer by giving out free food to those in need this Christmas.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Arokodare, along with three of his Genk teammates, took part in a charitable initiative with Vincentius, a local charity in Genk, to distribute food parcels to families during the festive season, as reported by Belgian website tvl.be/nieuws.

“At the initiative of Genk striker Tolu Arokodare, he and three other teammates went to prepare food parcels at Sint-Vincentius in Genk,” the website wrote.
“In this way, they want to give those in need a boost during this Christmas period. Traditionally, it is a busy period for the organisation.
“Sint-Vincentius Genk Zutendaal distributes 20 tonnes of food every month and even more during the holidays.”
Arokodare, who has been linked with a move to Girona, joined Super Eagles teammate Alex Iwobi in spreading Christmas cheer by giving back to those in need.
Iwobi made headlines on Sunday for distributing free food, including turkeys, to struggling families in east London at his temporary shop.

Meanwhile, Arokodare’s charitable efforts come as he continues his impressive form with Genk, helping the Belgian club rise to the top of the Pro League standings with 41 points from 19 games.
