Eredo LCDA Postpones 2024 Kiddies Funfair Party, Gives Reasons
Ekohotblog reports that Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has announced the postponement of its highly anticipated 2024 Kiddies FunFair Party, initially scheduled to unite children and families in celebration.
The decision to postpone the event to a later date was conveyed in an official announcement by the council.

According to the organizers, the event was postponed due to safety concerns following recent stampede incidents reported in other parts of the country.
The council emphasized that the safety and well-being of children and residents remain a top priority.
To ensure a safer and more organized event, the program will now be held sectionally, with dates for the new arrangement to be announced soon.
In the statement, the leadership of Eredo LCDA reassured the public of its commitment to providing a memorable and exciting experience for children.
The Statement reads “While this decision was not easy, it was necessary to protect the lives of our community members, especially our children.
We are working on a revised format that prioritizes safety without compromising the fun and excitement of the event,” the council noted.
The council also expressed gratitude to all individuals and organizations that have supported the event in various ways.
“We deeply appreciate your financial, moral, and other contributions.
Your generosity and commitment to the community are highly valued” It stated.
