Walker, who has made 316 appearances for Manchester City since joining in 2017, is set to travel to Italy for a medical ahead of finalizing the move.
The 34-year-old last played for City on January 4 in a match against West Ham, after which he informed manager Pep Guardiola of his desire to explore opportunities abroad. While initially linked with a move to the Saudi Pro League, Walker has expressed a preference for a switch to Serie A.
The seasoned full-back has been instrumental in City’s domestic dominance, playing a key role in all six Premier League title triumphs under Guardiola.

He joined the club from Tottenham in a £50 million deal and has since become a stalwart of the team. In 2023, Walker was appointed joint-captain of City as part of a leadership group elected by his teammates. He also boasts 93 caps for England.
AC Milan, however, face registration restrictions in Italy that limit them to signing just one player from the UK during this transfer window.
While they have been linked with Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, Walker’s imminent arrival means any potential move for Rashford would have to wait.
