Job Title: UI/UX & Graphics Designer
Location: Remote (Lagos-based applicants preferred)
Job Description
The selected candidate will be responsible for designing intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications while also creating compelling visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media, and digital media. The role requires a creative thinker with technical expertise in translating design concepts into functional, user-friendly experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and enhance UI/UX for websites and mobile applications.
- Develop high-quality graphics for digital marketing campaigns.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation.
- Optimize designs for SEO and mobile responsiveness.
Required Skills & Experience
- Design Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects), Figma, and Sketch.
- Development Knowledge: Basic understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Prototyping & Wireframing: Experience with UXPin, InVision, and Adobe XD.
- Collaboration Tools: Familiarity with Slack, JIRA, and Asana.
- SEO Optimization: Understanding of SEO-friendly design principles.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile teams.
- Communication Skills: Ability to articulate design choices effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional design experience, preferably in tech or fintech.
- Cross-Platform Design: Experience in designing for both iOS and Android.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX and graphic design expertise.
