Reflecting on the experience in an Instagram post on Saturday, Omotola shared how the surgery affected one of her favorite physical features—her stomach. She admitted that while it is no longer as flawless as before, she remains confident and unshaken.
“Late last year, I had emergency surgery. My tummy used to be one of the best parts of my body, but it’s not so perfect now,” she wrote. “During this shoot, I absentmindedly grabbed my top, and a little voice said, ‘There’s nothing to show anymore.’ Not me! Nothing can shake my confidence. I smiled and danced. I’m alive, and it’s just scars. Some people have physical scars, others have emotional ones.”

Meanwhile, Omotola also addressed concerns about her family’s safety amid the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles.
