Popular media personality Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, better known as Nedu Wazobia, has stated that he has no regrets about inviting comedian DeeOne to his podcast, The Honest Bunch.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that DeeOne stirred controversy during his appearance on the podcast by claiming that outspoken media personality VeryDarkMan is attracted to men.

In response, VeryDarkMan accused Nedu of using his platform to exploit up-and-coming entertainers in exchange for podcast features. He also threatened to expose the names of women Nedu allegedly claimed to have been intimate with in the industry.
The controversy sparked widespread reactions on social media and ultimately led to Nedu’s departure from the show.
Addressing the situation in an interview on TVC’s Breakfast Show, DeeOne revealed that he had orchestrated the situation to “set a trap” for VeryDarkMan, adding that Nedu was unaware of his plan.
He explained, “I planned the whole thing alone, but if I had said it on social media, people would accuse me of trying to make money. I had been studying VeryDarkMan for months to determine if he was genuine or just manipulating Nigerians.”
However, speaking at a press briefing in Lagos on Thursday, Nedu reaffirmed that he has no regrets about featuring DeeOne on The Honest Bunch.
He stated, “Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I don’t regret bringing DeeOne to the show. The platform has helped many people.”
