EKO HOT BLOG reports that Speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of Manchester United’s Premier League clash against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday, Amorim made it clear that his focus remains on the players currently under his command.
The relationship between Rashford and Amorim has reportedly been strained, leading to the England international’s temporary move to Aston Villa for the remainder of the season. Since joining Villa, Rashford has made an immediate impact, including scoring twice in a 3-0 FA Cup victory over Preston last weekend.
When asked about Rashford’s performance and future at United, Amorim responded, as quoted by journalist Fabrizio Romano:
“I am focused on my team and my players. Rashford is not my player at the moment. However, I do take pleasure in seeing our players perform well while on loan.”
Meanwhile, Amorim also provided an update on Ayden Heaven’s fitness, revealing that the injury is not severe.

“Ayden Heaven’s injury is not so serious. He’s not fit to play right now, but I am confident he will return to action before the end of this season,” he said.
