EKO HOT BLOG reports that Osimhen, who delivered an outstanding 2024-2025 season while on loan at Galatasaray, played a pivotal role in the club’s double triumph, scoring 37 goals and providing eight assists across 41 matches. His impressive performance helped Okan Buruk’s side secure both the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup titles.
Galatasaray has reportedly presented Osimhen with a highly attractive contract, reportedly surpassing offers from several European clubs. Despite this, Osimhen, who is currently enjoying his holiday in Nigeria, has yet to commit to a permanent deal. He has also rejected a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal, further fueling speculation about his next move.
“He’s making us wait, but time is running out,” Kavukcu said. “We’ve offered him figures higher than those proposed in Europe.”
In another transfer development, Chelsea has officially withdrawn from negotiations for AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan. According to reports from Sky Sports News, the Premier League club has opted against pursuing the French international after evaluating its current goalkeeping options.
Chelsea currently has four goalkeepers on their roster—Robert Sanchez, Filip Jorgensen, Djordje Petrovic, and Mike Penders. The club plans to offload at least two of them this summer, with one expected to go on loan to Ligue 1 side Strasbourg and another likely to be sold.

Although Maignan was presented as an option to Chelsea earlier in the transfer window, the Blues ultimately chose not to submit a formal offer. As things stand, the possibility of Chelsea signing a new goalkeeper this summer appears slim.
