EKO HOT BLOG reports that sccording to the New York Post, Rosa arrived in South Florida in mid-March and completed her pre-surgery blood tests on March 19 at Prestige Plastic Surgery Clinic. The following day, March 20, doctors performed the BBL procedure, which involved extracting fat from 12 areas of her body and transferring it to her buttocks. The surgery reportedly cost $7,495.
Three days after the operation, Rosa informed her family about the procedure while she was recuperating at a rented apartment. Her older sister, Anamin Vazquez, said the family grew worried when Rosa suddenly stopped responding to calls and messages.
Tragically, on March 23, a friend who was staying with Rosa discovered her unconscious in the bathroom. Efforts to revive her through CPR were unsuccessful.
The Miami-Dade Medical Examiner later confirmed that Rosa’s death was caused by a pulmonary embolism, a deadly blockage in the lungs, often linked to complications from cosmetic surgeries like the BBL.
Reports revealed that Rosa had been in severe pain following the procedure, experienced breathing difficulties, low blood pressure, and numbness in her lower limbs. Her condition deteriorated rapidly before her death.

The incident has once again drawn attention to the risks associated with Brazilian Butt Lift surgeries, which have become increasingly popular but are known to carry serious medical risks, including fatal complications.
