As the countdown begins to the much-anticipated chairmanship and councilorship elections across Lagos State, Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester Oluwadahunsi, Member of the Lagos State House of Assembly representing Epe Constituency II, has called on the residents of the constituency to come out en masse and vote for all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ekohotblog reports that Speaking on the importance of grassroots governance, Hon. Ogunkelu emphasized that the local government remains the closest tier of government to the people and plays a crucial role in delivering democratic dividends to the community.

“Let us not take this opportunity for granted. The local government is the closest to the people. By voting APC, we are voting for better roads, markets, schools, and health centers,” he said.
He further noted that the APC-led administration in Epe Constituency II has consistently prioritized development in key areas such as infrastructure, youth empowerment, healthcare, and education, and urged the people to ensure continuity of good governance through their votes.
“Grassroots leadership plays a vital role in community development, and voting for APC candidates will ensure the continuation of progressive governance,” Hon. Ogunkelu stated. “The APC has delivered and will continue to do more with your support.”
He urged all eligible voters to participate peacefully in the electoral process and maintain a spirit of unity and progress.
“Let’s come out massively and secure a brighter future for our communities. I also appeal to everyone to conduct themselves peacefully and embrace the electoral process in the spirit of democracy,” he added.
Hon. Ogunkelu concluded by reiterating the need for stability in governance, stressing that “Voting APC is voting for continuity, stability, and sustainable development.”
