The wife of the Lagos State Governor, Dr. (Mrs.) Claudiana Ibijoke SanwoOlu, has expressed her support for the humanitarian initiatives of the Rotary Club of Omole Golden.

Represented by Mrs. Funmi Omotoso, wife of the Commissioner for Information and Strategy, during the investiture of Rotarian Adekunmilola Adio Moses as the Club’s 22nd President, the First Lady praised the Club’s selection of projects particularly the Omole Golden Neonatal Centre and interest free loan programs for small businesses, as vital efforts in addressing poverty, illness, and economic disparity.

“These initiatives align perfectly with the THEMES+ Agenda of the Lagos State Government and complement the interventions of my office in supporting vulnerable women, children, and small-scale entrepreneurs,” Dr. Sanwo-Olu said.
She praised the new leadership for prioritizing meaningful service and encouraged club members to actively support the new president in achieving the club’s humanitarian objectives.
She also highlighted the importance of collaboration between government and civic groups, noting that sustainable development relies on such strong partnerships.
In her address as the new president, Rotarian Adekunmilola Adio Moses—who also serves as General Manager of the Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC)—delivered a message focused on selfless service, unity, and purposeful impact.

“We will serve not for recognition, but because we genuinely care. We will give not for applause, but because the needs around us are real,” he declared.
Adio Moses expressed appreciation to his predecessors, especially Rotarian Jide Ogunleye, for establishing a strong foundation for the club. He called on fellow Rotarians and stakeholders to join hands in driving collective action toward achieving the club’s mission and expanding its impact.
“Let us work together in harmony, leveraging our diverse strengths and experiences. Unity will be our strategy; service will be our identity,” he affirmed, pledging to pursue wide-reaching partnerships to expand the club’s impact.
Earlier, the Chairperson of the Investiture Planning Committee, Rotarian Dr. Omowumi Bakare, praised her team for their commitment and extended gratitude to the dignitaries in attendance, noting that their presence demonstrated Rotary’s inclusive and welcoming spirit.
The well-attended event brought together Rotarians from District 9111 and other regions, as well as government officials, traditional rulers, religious figures, community stakeholders, and members of the media.
It also served as a significant fundraising platform for the club’s 2025–2026 service projects.
