The state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Lawal Pedro, described the donation as a significant step toward improving justice delivery in Lagos.
Expressing appreciation to the governor, Pedro stated that two of the buses will be used for transporting suspects to and from court, while another two will support the operations of the Special Task Force on Human Trafficking.

He added, “The remaining buses will assist in improving the movement of legal teams across the state. These vehicles will help ease transport challenges for prosecutors and legal officers, ensure timely trial proceedings, and improve overall efficiency.”
Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun, Executive Secretary of the LSSTF, noted that this is the first time the governor has made a direct request to support the ministry.
He emphasized that the gesture demonstrates Governor Sanwo-Olu’s dedication to strengthening institutions and fostering collaboration among agencies.
“This donation shows the governor’s determination to enhance both the justice system and security infrastructure in Lagos,” Balogun added.
