The African Democratic Congress (ADC) is stepping up its efforts to challenge the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kaduna State ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In light of this momentum, EkoHotBlog reports that the party’s state chairman, Elder Patric Ambut, stated during a leadership meeting that the ADC has grown its membership and is now seen as a serious alternative to the APC, noting that more people are becoming interested in the party.

Consequently, Ambut is urging members to revalidate their membership at the ward level to strengthen their presence at the grassroots, which he believes is crucial for winning

He also notes that many residents are unhappy with the current government and that the ADC provides a credible platform for positive change.
The immediate past chairman, Hon. Philemon Kure, described the party as a “breath of fresh air,” with its policies focused on improving the welfare and living standards of Nigerians.
The party’s leadership emphasized the need for unity among its coalition partners and restated their commitment to providing inclusive, people-focused governance in preparation for the 2027 elections.
