The main event features American powerhouse Brandon Glanton (20-3, 17 KOs), who will square off against Britain’s Rocky Fielding (30-3, 18 KOs), a former world title challenger. Glanton, coming off a high-profile bout at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, promised a thrilling performance in Lagos. “I’m coming to Lagos to settle the score with Rocky Fielding. Our styles guarantee excitement, and I’m ready to prove I belong at the top of the cruiserweight division,” he said.
Fielding, who returns to the ring after a three-year break, is also eager to make a statement: “After three years out, I’m back with a fire to reclaim my place at the top. Beating Glanton in Lagos will show everyone I’m ready for a world title shot.”
Also on the bill is British-Nigerian fighter Dan Azeez (21-2-1, 13 KOs), a former British, Commonwealth, and European champion, who said fighting in Nigeria is a personal milestone. “Fighting in Nigeria on Independence Day is a dream come true. This is for my heritage, my people, and my pride. I’m ready to put on a show and honour Nigeria with every punch I throw.”
Fans will also see Ghana’s Elvis Ahorgah, nicknamed “The Soldier”, whose aggressive style and highlight-reel knockouts have gained viral attention.
Nigeria’s unbeaten Basit Adebayo (9-0, 4 KOs) will challenge Tanzania’s Tony Rashid (17-4-3, 11 KOs) for the prestigious WBO Africa Title, adding a regional belt to the high-stakes action.
In a clash of unbeatens, Kerem Ozman (5-0) takes on Nigeria’s Tosin Osaigbovo (12-0, 8 KOs), while hard-hitting Yusuf Adeniji (12-0, 10 KOs) will also be in action on the exciting undercard.
