Mr. Aregbe praised Pulse Africa for consistently highlighting Nigeria’s creative industries, youth culture, and popular trends.
He described the organisation as an ideal partner for Lagos’ tourism agenda, given its strong connection with young audiences.

“Pulse is a strategic partner whose storytelling power can help us showcase the Lagos of our dreams. This partnership is about amplifying Lagos to the world. Lagos gains a stronger cultural voice, while Pulse strengthens its leadership in shaping conversations around tourism, arts, and culture,” he said.
He also outlined some of the Ministry’s flagship programmes, including 101 Days in Lagos (September 26 – January 4), Lagos Cultural Weekend, Skill Up Lagos, Lagos Tourism NBC Trade Fair, E1 Championship, and other youth-focused initiatives. Aregbe revealed that Pulse would act not only as a publishing partner but also as the lead media partner for the Lagos Cultural Mission.
In her remarks, Ms. Link reaffirmed Pulse Africa’s commitment to promoting Lagos’ creative energy. “Pulse is passionate about highlighting the creativity, energy, and opportunities Lagos offers. We aim to amplify voices, spotlight hidden gems, and connect Lagos to audiences across Nigeria and beyond,” she said.

Also present at the meeting was Ms. Tanaz of Awari/Lost in Lagos, who highlighted the importance of partnerships in shaping the city’s cultural identity.
She noted that collaboration between media platforms and government can redefine how Lagos is experienced on a global scale.
In a related engagement, Mr. Aregbe hosted Ms. Abosede Shafer and her team, organisers of the upcoming international boxing tournament Chaos in the Ring, set for October 1 in Lagos.
The organisers revealed that the event will feature over 150 athletes, including more than 50 international boxers, with global boxing icon Anthony Joshua confirming his attendance.
