Burna Boy Insists Zambian He Kicked On Stage Tried To Rob Him

With the furore generated by the scene created at a concert in Zambia drawing widespread condemnations, Nigerian music star, Burna Boy, has offered an update on what really transpired. Along with apologizing, the new Star ambassador said the man tried to rob him while performing on stage in Zambia.

A video surfaced on social media showing the moment when the ‘Ye’ singer kicked a fan during his concert in Zambia while he was performing very close to the edge of the stage and fans reached out to touch him and Burna Boy is seen kicking one of the concert-goers.

“I’m sorry about how it looks but this person continuously tried to rob me on stage. It was like the 10th attempt to do it after telling him several times to stop,” he said, adding: “This wasn’t a fan. Apologies for how it looks but it’s not the case at all. I appreciate all my fans.”
