Imo Deputy Speaker Resigns, Nine Lawmakers Defect To APC

Deputy Speaker of the Imo State  House of Assembly, Okey Onyekanma has resigned his position.

Subsequently,  nine lawmakers have defected to the All Progressives Congress, (APC) and more are prepared to move.

The Speaker of the house read the defection letter at about 3:30 pm.

He also  announced the screening of the newly appointed Attorney General of Imo State, Cyprain Akaolisa.
