Tragic: 12-year-Old Commits Suicide Following Parents Death

A 12-year-old boy, Kasarachi Odurukwe, on Wednesday, committed suicide in Imo State.

The deceased is from Agbaola Ishiala Umudi Autonomous Community in Nkwerre Local Government Area of the state.

According to reports, Odurukwe hanged himself following the death of his parents.

It was also disclosed that he stayed with his late mother’s sister with his two siblings and had often complained of how unfair the world had turned to him.

Odurukwe was said to have gone to the stream to fetch water alongside his two small siblings and while he had fetched water for his siblings, he asked them to start going.

The villages who went to fetch water alerted the elders within the commmunity. His corpse has been deposited to the mortuary and investigation still ongoing.
