Cross River: Nurse Slumps While Withdrawing Money From ATM
The remains of a nurse, identified as Mrs. Freedom Ohana, has been deposited in the motuary.
The nurse who is married with children died while trying to withdraw money from an Automated Teller Machine, ATM in one of the new generation banks in Calabar, Cross River State capital city.
Freedom who hails from Abi local government area of Cross River State, works at the Staff Clinic of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, UCTH.

The incidence which occurred on Monday has left the staff of the hospital downcast.
“She came to work on Monday, February 17, 2020 morning and said she wants to rush to the bank and withdraw money after signing in. She even borrowed N200 from someone to pay for her transportation. While trying to withdraw the money at the ATM Stand, she slumped and was then rushed to the hospital where she was confirmed death at the Emergency unit.
“She did not show any sign of illness when she resumed work that day. She works at the Staff clinic”, a colleague of hers said.
