Generator Ban Bill: “You Should Be Thrown Into The Atlantic Ocean”, FFK Blasts Sponsors

While Nigerians are uniting to fight a bill banning the importation and usage of generators, former aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has slammed members of the National Assembly supporting the bill.

The PDP chieftain in a tweet yesterday night described them as insane they and should be thrown into the deepest part of the Atlantic Ocean.

Ekohotblog reports that a bill suggesting a 10-year jail term for anyone selling or using generator was sponsored by  Senator Muhammad Bima.

This bill has been termed as “funny” by many Nigerians as the country is lagging behind in the provision of electricity, where generator becomes the easiest alternative.
