Women Should Not Take Back Seat In Politics- Abike Dabiri

Women around the World are speaking in one voice and they are targeting generation equality, where women from different walks of life can aspire to achieve more. 

The Chairman of Nigeria Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, speaking at the seventh edition of the Inspiring Change Conference themed ‘There is More,’ at Wisdom Arena, Agege, called on women not to take back seats in politics.

Ekohotblog understands that the Inspiring Change Conference aimed at empowering100 women in 2020 through various skills acquisition program is in commemoration of the World International Women’s Day tagged ‘generation equality and women’s rights’
In the same vein, Sumbo Adeboye, the conference convener cheered for women to aspire for more in their different industries.

Sumbo said the success of the conference is attributed to the commitment and the selflessness of women.

“The Inspiring Change Conference has plateaued and metamorphosed into a household name since it’s inception in 2013 and has become a Launchpad for economic opportunities for  SME’s and attendees”.

She concluded by urging women to continue to give their best towards the socio-economic development of our country.
