Lagos Radio To Partner Stakeholder In The Agricultural Sector
The General Manager of Lagos Traffic Radio, Mr. Tayo Akanle, has expressed the readiness of the broadcast station to collaborate with stakeholders in the Agricultural sector as part of efforts to positively project the programmes and policies of the Lagos State Government.
Akanle disclosed this while welcoming the Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Agriculture, Ms. Abisola Olusanya and the Management of the Lagos State Coconut Development Authority, LASCODA, who were on a courtesy visit to the Station.
The General Manager expressed the readiness of Traffic Radio to publicise activities in the agricultural sector, particularly the LASCODA initiative promoting the production, processing, commercialisation and utilisation of coconut as a veritable means for development.

Ms. Abisola Olusanya affirmed that Traffic Radio has a wide listenership that made the broadcast Station a toast of the public, thus, a collaboration between Traffic Radio and Agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture would be of great benefit to promoting their activities.
She applauded the management of the Station, led by Mr. Tayo Akanle, for its efforts towards improving the popularity of the Station, stressing that its high rating is a clear testimony to how well the leadership is positively impacting the lives of Lagosians.
The General Manager of LASCODA, Mr. Dapo Olakuleyin requested Traffic Radio to help educate the public on the importance and benefits of coconut to health, as well as to the economy of Lagos State.
He affirmed that Lagos Traffic Radio’s rising profile will further help reach out to a lot of Lagosians on the need to plant coconuts and patronise its by-products.
