Angry Man Beats Wife To Pulp Over A Missing Meat

Residents of ekeremor local government area in bayelsa state had a sleepless night yesterday, when a man identified as Mr John Udoka, 45, engaged his wife, Sara in a devilish fight over a missing meat in their pot of soup.

John who was alleged to have beaten up his wife to pulp because, she took more than one meat from the pot as they eat in the evening was heard saying that he had instructed her to remain one meat for the next morning on going there to check, he discovered that the meat was not there and she denied eaten it.

Residents was alarmed as the man launched punches on the wife, when the wife screamed for help and cried profusely.

Residents on getting to the compound said that there could be more to the fight than just a mere meat from the pot.

They offered to take the woman to a nearby clinic in the night for treatment as she was bleeding from both eyes.

The husband took to his heel as people in the neighborhood came en mass for fear of been arrested by the police.
