Tragedy As Lady Stabbed Her Friend While She Slept – Witness

A lady, identified as Mercy Jonah has taken to her heels after she stabbed her colleague identified as Janet at her workplace in her sleep.

The incident occurred on Monday 6th April 2020, at a hotel where Mercy and Janet worked at in PortHarcourt, Rivers State.

According to one of their colleagues who pleaded anonymity, “An argument had happened between Mercy and Janet days before the incident happened and they thought all was well not until when Mercy use a broken bottle to stab Janet on her neck while she was asleep” adding that what led her to take Mercy’s life is unknown.

She said that the victim screamed for help from her sleep and was rushed to the hospital where she was treated and stabilized but Mercy had run for fear of been arrested.
