The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has sanctioned a patrol team involved in the trending video with a motorist during the enforcement of the stay at home order.
Ekohotblog reports that a video had gone viral of overzealous men of the FRSC trying to enforce the lockdown, an incident that has generated a lot of uproar.

In a statement signed by Bisi Kazeem, the Public Education Officer of FRSC and made available to ekohotblog, the FRSC said that after a careful study and analysis of the video and what transpired in it, the Corps Marshall, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi has has ordered the immediate withdrawal of the entire FRSC Team involved in the unprofessional and uncivil act.
FRSC said that the action of the Officers involved in that episode is completely contrary to the Core Values and Operational Ethics of the Corps and the Corps frowns at it.
The Corps Marshal also directed that the entire team be queried and sanctioned in accordance with FRSC relevant regulations on discipline while calling on memebers of the public to remain calm and comply with the stay at home and social distancing directives.
