Trevor Cherry Dies At 72
Former England defender, Trevor Cherry, has kicked the bucket at the age of 72.
His club, Leeds, announced the sad news with mourning feelings yesterday, 29 May 2020. It is a sad fact that Leeds has lost one of its best players.
Some of the clubs which Cherry played for before he came to Leads were:
Huddersfield at his home town. He also played for Bradford and later managed the Bantams, but will not be forgotten at the Leeds because he was part of the team that won a title in 1974.
“Leeds United are shocked and deeply saddened by the news that club legend Trevor Cherry has passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 72,” Leeds said in a statement.
