We Won’t Go Against Government’s Rule, Says Eti Osa Football League
Eti Osa Football League has been contemplating on the date for training resumption as some of the representatives of each football team met yesterday, 8 May, at Jakande Lekki football field.
The major discussion was how to return to training as Oba Ojomu football league will soon commence. The Oba Ojomu football league which is to come up early June has been unanimously approved to come up by end of July as they are optimistic that coronavirus would have been eradicated before then.

All the football representatives that were in attendance also agreed with the new rule of the state government that no social gatherings until the health workers give the go-ahead.
In accordance with the present rules, no training until the state government allows social gatherings.
Igbokushu FC, Gbaara FC, Maiyegun FC, Osapa FC, Agungun FC, Jakande FC, and Ikota FC were represented in the meeting presided by Emmanuel Okon.
As the meeting was an impromptu one, the league’s representatives said the absentees for that meeting would not be penalized.
